With the new season started, we are bringing an exciting fly fishing match to Wee Glenamour, following a different format to what our matches usually follow.

This match is for all members, designed to be purely for fun, and does not carry any club championship points contribution.

Date: Saturday 22nd of March 2025

Arrival Time: 1030hours

Venue: Wee Glenamour

Entry Fee: £5

This match will be pegged with 20 pegs set out round the water.

Each competitor will draw a peg at registration and that will be the starting peg for your match.

Pegs will change every 30 minutes (signalled by a whistle) with anglers moving 3 pegs to the left.

Fishing will continue until around 1530hours.

Anglers can carry two rods for the match with a spare set up.

Full catch and release recording number of fish caught per peg (no weights or measure required).

1st prize – Trophy and £50 cash
