On Sunday, 20th April 2025, we fished the first fly fishing match of the season, The Wilson Cup, at Fyntalloch.

In some bright conditions, 17 anglers took part with 11 fish being caught.

The result as follows;

1st – Calvin Steward – 2 fish for 4lb 1oz

2nd – Billy McShane – 2 fish for 3lb

3rd – John McMurray – 2 fish for 2lb 2oz

Heaviest Fish – John McMurray – 2lb 2oz
