After a busy season, what better way to spend a Thursday night than refreshing the fly box for next season.

This means the return of our popular fly tying sessions at Whauphill Village Hall.

Classes are informal, and will run every Thursday night 7pm until 9pm.

The first session of the year will be Thursday the 23rd of October 2025 and thereafter every Thursday through the winter months.

Equipment and guidance is available to those who are looking to try fly tying for the first time or the expert looking to hone their skills – but really, these sessions can be a good way to keep in touch with each other throughout the the winter months!

Our sessions are open to all, and non members are more than welcome to attend – come along, grab a cuppa and a biscuit (or sometimes cake) have a craic and tie some flies!

£3 a session (to cover hire costs of the hall).
