Thank you to everyone who supported our charity event on 27 August 2023 – a difficult day was had, with a strong consistent wind blowing from the north west!

We had a good mix of anglers some of whom having travelled from the Forfar area!!

Despite the difficult conditions, a great day was had with the result as follows;

1st – 5 fish for 10lb 4oz – Calvin Steward

2nd – 4 fish for 7lb 15oz – Danny Love

3rd – 3 fish for 6lb 5oz – Scott Patterson

Top Junior – 1 fish for 2lb – Liam McEwan

Heaviest fish – 5lb 2oz – Conor Creevy

The most important result of the day……a final count has still to take place once we have collected all the outstanding sponsorship and donations but from monies gather and counted so far, we are in excess of £7000!! A final post will follow with the exact amount.

The money raised will be split evenly between Macmillan Cancer Support and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance – SCAA.
