On Sunday the 19th April 2026, we fished the first fly fishing match of the season, The Wilson Cup, at Fyntalloch.

In bright, spring conditions, 14 anglers caught 33 fish.

The result as follows;

1st – Grant Fitzsimmons – 6 fish for 11lb 15oz

2nd – Mark Da Prato – 5 fish for 9lb 12oz

3rd – Johnnie Johnstone – 4 fish for 8lb 2oz

Heaviest Fish – Andy Everett – 2lb 8oz
