On 25 June 2023 we fished the Stroyan Cup at Kirriereoch in wet conditions which seemed to dampen the appetite of the trout!

10 anglers took part with 7 fish being caught.

Result of the competition as follows;

1st – 3 fish for 2lb 2oz – Andy Johnstone

2nd – 2 fish for 1lb 6oz – Jimmy Costley

3rd – 1 fish for 11oz – Martin Cluckie

Heaviest Fish – Jimmy Costley 13oz

We don’t have a photo of the presentation for this match, by all accounts, the competitors looked like they had been in a swimming competition rather than fishing!
